I've gambled on Warsaw but flight home is 06.30 on the Wed, so might be struggling 😟

If it’s not in Warsaw good luck with that one. The airport for that flights not even in Warsaw it’s in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki!! Lol

For those with Warsaw flights or yet to book there is a cheap (£25) Ryanair flight from Krakow to Stansted departing at 0700 the morning after the match if helpful for anyone. At least it would get you back in the UK for a connection.

Here's how this should be going. The secretary of the Ukrainian FA has a look in the Polish Wee Red Book for the telephone numbers of all the bigger clubs and gives them a bell, one by one. "Can we use your park, chief? There's a few quid in it for you." When he gets a yes, that's the venue.

There's no way that England or Germany would be treated like this.

Doubt if the SFA have even bothered to ask Ukraine yet far less UEFA

They are not called the SFA for nothing.Just about sums up their efforts on our behalf during this carry on.As far as they are concerned it still all boils down to not wanting to look bad by demanding Ukraine get their finger out in this matter. It's time those tits realised who exactly they are supposed to be representing.

Looks like there is other cases of the same happening in Europe.

Greece have only just confirmed the venue for their game v Northern Ireland on the same night as our game today (granted, it looks like Northern Ireland challenged the venue for the original game weeks ago).

Yes, but as you say Northern Ireland were at least given a venue originally. We haven't even reached that stage. What is the problem about selecting a venue?. Have they not even been asked to explain what the problem is. Unbelievably poor effort by all concerned.

Northern Ireland it seems to be that the Irish FA have questioned the selection of the ground on the basis that its more than 90 miles from the nearest international airport (even though the original venue played host to their games in June, and has a international airport near by (granted 1 flight a day over the week to places like Gatwick, Vienna, Paris, Dusseldorf), but this seems to have been requested back in June, and only confirmed today.

With regards to Ukraine, yesterday parliament voted through Marshall Law was extended though to November, and I suspect the Ukrainian FA were holding on to this slither of hope that they could plead their case for the game to be in Lviv at this months UEFA FA's meeting (hence there was some movement from the Ukrainian end on Friday about tickets and venue for their games).
