Ooft that was a let off. Faroes are pretty well set up defensively these days so I wouldnt be too harsh on ourselves but our lack of ability to score goals is a real problem.Ā

Regardless, i would of bitten the arm of for 2 wins and clarke has gone and done it. Gotta give him credit, 1 win against Moldova and we are there. Even a draw could be enough.Ā

Denmark won 1-0 there and scored in the 85th minute. Bit of perspective required. Best cross of the game was telling. Chuffed to bits.Ā

Their B team did. Still had about 15-20 chances.Ā

I said it after Daturday and will say it again. McTominay does not merit a starting place in our side.

Daturday dight?

Seriously though he was rank rotten. He actually looked a wee bit better after McGregor came on.Ā

Lucky, Constant long balls on an artificial pitch, not learning lessons. No game plan, seemed to be get ball wide and cross, delivery not good enough. Have to say mcgregor is vital to way we play. He keeps the ball, and is great at distributing. mctominay looked better when he came on,nesbit gave the chasing down we needed. Not good enough on whole. got out of jail massively. All can say is artificial pitch, potential banana skin and coming coming away with a win. We said before game any win will do. That's what happened. They don't do it easy. We need to ramp it up before our luck runs out. But it's in our hands.Ā

what a disgrace of a performance from pretty much everyone bar GordonĀ

Think thats harsh, the second half the faroes just put 11 men behind the ball and defended really well. They nearly held out against Denmark as well. Took them 85 mins to break the deadlock. The faroes are not as shite as they used to be especially at home.Ā

It amazes me how many folk canā€™t see what McGregor does in our team. He has to start every game alongside GilmourĀ

I doubt Denmark should have been 2-0 down at half time.

Still, a win is a win.Ā

We may have rued our bad luck in previous campaigns but we surely can't go on being this poor and getting the rub of the green if we want to get to/through the play-offs. Why do we always start games so badly?

When have we had the rub of the green, we dominated that second half and had loads of shots and a few decent chances. Same with the Israel game the other night. We have fought hard to the end of both games and deserved our victories.Ā

Only gripe I have is we don't score enough goals, we should be converting more of the chances we create.Ā

Not sure where the negativity is coming from, 2 wins and a gutsy performance in both games has left us pretty much qualified for the play offs as long as Israel don't beat Austria at home.Ā

Does anyone actual remember the last twenty years of misery.Ā
