I haven't been paying much attention to boxing like I used to, the Saudi involvement has diluted the atmosphere for me and a pet hate right now is how many times the big fighters and promoters say "his excellency"🤣

A young work colleague of mine has just turned pro...had 1 fight with 1 win. I am going to his 2nd fight in Bournemouth, my other colleague went to the first fight and they say the enjoyed this much more than watching elite stuff

No worries. I hope you enjoy it when you get round to it. Thought it was very good overall. 

Yeah, often it is better getting a look at fighters in the early stages of their pro campaigns. Good luck to your work colleague!

The night ruined by Jake paul getting access to the ring and facing off against Usyk.

Josh Taylor announces his retirement from boxing. He has been informed by doctors he runs the risk of losing his sight if he continues to box after an eye operation in February.

A sad way for his career to end but it was on a downward trajectory in his last three or four fights.

Set my alarm for 4am after reading the ring walk for Alvarez v Crawford would approximately 4am. Im usually up at 5.30am......ring walk just about to start 😆 🤣 😂
