Scotland v Moldova

Noticed Mccoist mention on commentary that Cooper when he came on he was telling Hendry and Hanley to push up a couple of times because they are sitting to deep especially when we consider we are playing Moldova, this 3 at the back in these games probably invites these teams forward, no wingers that probably could have contributed more to the strikers( that would have hopefully scored more).

We’ve scored 8 goals and conceded 5 in 5 games. Ok we’re not scoring as much as we’d like but we’re not conceding many goals. We have the best defensive record in the group outside Denmark. And we are still a relatively young team / squad.

What an embarrassment.  A once proud nation humbled by having to bring in defenders to hang in against a minnow.

why can’t we score goals. Let’s be clear. They are a pub team.

we need an international striker…. One playing for Barcelona, Bayern Munich, juventus. We are pissing in the wind.

So how embarrassed must Denmark be?

Except Billy is not by nature a finisher.

No but he can play a killer pass, nice 1-2’s etc. And he’s young enough to add goals to his game.

I don't know if it was due to poor performances or lack of movement and fluidity in midfield but I noticed Patterson and Robertson were getting very little options for passes and would get crowded out with very little support. They would either have to try and make a low percentage option or go back to central defence. Gilmour was the only one who was trying to show as a constant option.

Being positive for a sec, if we keep creating chances like tonight we will punish someone. Could be Austria and one goal might do it; tonight we were trying to score a barrowload.

This is hardly the place for being positive mate!

And how can a foreign manager make Billy Gilmour score that chance he missed when he is not a finisher.

He stops the pathetic Scottish mentality  that so many fans seen to wallow in. He stops the stupid listening to the drivel that so many Scots love. Scotland fans are pathetic weak losers who love defeats, who love nothing other than being put in their place. It’s fucking dismal, yet so many seem to love it.

I mean, half of those goals were against the Faroes. I like your positivity, but scoring is a humongous problem.

The Euros and tonight further showed that we are capable of creating chances. We just don't have the right players on the park to score them.

Out of the 3 strikers we have, we should be using a maximum of 1. Instead, we should be utilising our raft of attacking midfielders that are criminally underused. We are so pitifully reliant on our fullbacks to create chances.

Let’s see how we get on in Vienna. This squad has it within them to get a result over there. If we do and Denmark beat Israel the whole complexion of the group changes.

We need a foreign manager, I’ve said it for 15 years. We are pathetic.

That’s the kind of thing a kid would say……. why don’t we get a good manager rather than a foreign one….. oh yeah, cos foreign is always better.

like all those second rate expensive ‘foreigners’ that came  to our league and wreck the chances of our best youngsters……

Kumnio troll….. you are more depressing than than that 5 at the back troll. Glass ain’t half empty, it’s spilt!

It would appear that Kumnio is a complete and utter bellend but that is just speculation based on the information attained from this forum, he may in fact be a decent person, we may never care!

A draw in Vienna and beat Israel and we are in reasonable shape for 2nd ?

I think we need to win in Vienna.

it would basically knock Austria out the group and mean we can get to 20 points without the last game against Denmark.

A draw and Austria are still in it, and there’s a real risk of Israel doing something against Denmark the way they’re playing and almost taking us out of it.

After Israel beating Austria, the game in Vienna isn't a must win, it's a must not lose. But if we do draw, then Israel at home is absolutely a must win.

We can only hope Israel hammering Austria was down to their deficiencies rather than Israel being electric. But we all know that Israel are capable of playing us off the park.
