Things we could learn from Italian football

Recommended Posts

They're obviously doing something right. What lessons can we learn?

I'd propose we look at what they are doing in Serie A and replicate it in Scotland.

Item One - Green kits to be banned as they clash with the colour of the grass and spoil the viewing for spectators and TV audiences. Makes total sense. Let's do it.  Who's in?

There was a similar rule in british football that was relaxed at some stage in mid 80s

think chelsea? Were first team to start using green ( light green ) change kit / or leicester

same with all black kits ; which recall st mirren statted using / roy aitken / victor era ? - bit later i think when refs started moving away from all black

the biggest italian idea that worked for me tho was after failure of euro 80? They modified foreigner rule in domestic league to achieve success in wc 82
