Norwich are dreadful and I suspect the manager will be gone soon.

A wasted year for gilmourĀ

Why wasted? It could be the making of him. He'll learn the defensive side of the game far more at Norwich than he would at Chelsea. And he's now at the age where he needs plenty of game time. The fact it's in the premier league is very encouraging. Not many other 20 year olds would be loaned to such a high level.

For me if they go down with 15-20 points highly possible, gilmour will have just be gone seen as being a bit part of the whole shambles.Ā

Then you start going lower and heading to some of the deadbeat sides of the championship on loan.Ā

I donā€™t think scouts or the Chelsea coaching team are that stupid.Ā

Chelsea didn't send him to Norwich to be premier league contenders. If anything, they sent him there to toughen up, learn humility, and become an all round central midfielder.

If Norwich get relegated, it won't be Gilmour's fault, nor will Chelsea assume that, since he already said that the Chelsea coaches analyse all his games and give him advice. Norwich is a great place for him to learn, even if they lose every game.

Agree with this. Sometimes you learn more in adverse situations.

If Norwich are relegated - and today was a really disappointing result for them - it might also make him even more determined to succeed in the future.

Ross Stewart touted for a call up in the press today. Iā€™ve never seen him playā€¦ an upgrade on nisbet?Ā

Had a look at one of those stats based player ratings site thingies to see what it thought.

He's been given MoM in 4 of his 8 games, wins more than 7 aeirial duels per game on average and scores goals.

Currently the top rated player in the division.

Think County missed a trick if they played him on the wing.Ā

Sunderland fans have nicknamed him the "Loch Ness Drogba" Hope he turns out better than the "Ginger Ramos"
