And I have no idea how good Patterson is at defending, but I wonder if playing O'Donnell would be a bigger risk, especially since his confidence will be low. There is quite a big difference between what we want and what we expect. I think that's why very few of us have mentioned Turnbull. I'm a big fan of his and I can see him breaking into the first 11 in the near future, but I'd be shocked to see him start or even get off the bench today. I think Clarke will focus on the players with Premier League experience: Adams, Fraser, McGinn, McTominay, Armstrong, Robertson, Tierney, Cooper, Hanley and Marshall.
