rcf_1412 Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Really struggling to find any pubs not fully booked to watch the game in london... with trafalgar square a no go now it seems impossible to get a pub booked for 5 people... anyone booked anywhere recently that seems decent and still taking bookings? might just have to try walk-ins on the day but not great when travelling down, not knowing if you’ll actually see the game!
Dramdrewie Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 We have just booked for 6 of us at the Leman Street Tavern, Whitechapel
barrheadtartanarmy Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 4 of us booked O’Neills at Leicester Square yesterday. Ideal given the proximity to the square which is where the majority seem to be heading from what I’ve read.
Davyboy88 Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 4 of us booked into sports bar and grill Marylebone
Longridgewul Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Got the green man Fitzrovia’s booked and paid the deposit and no longer can go, if anyone is looking for somewhere just want the deposit back, was 50 pound thanks
GrantGaddi Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 12 of us got a table booked in tiger tiger think they are still taking bookings… https://london.tigertiger.co.uk

jpmc1992 Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 Maple Leaf in Covent Garden is supposed to be where a lot of Scotland fans are watching it for the Czech game. It would be a good option and is taking bookings. Living in London, I have watched Scotland with a good atmosphere in the Albion a few times (2-3 New Bridge St, London EC4V 6AA)

JaggyThistles Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Read a few threads: Pubs - loads booked up in the outlaying areas, but in the West End they are less strict. If I was coming to London, I'd head for Leicester Square, and get a carry out from the Tesco on Haymarket!
val Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 just a thought. I don't drink myself but for "packed lunches" for the stadiums why do people not take a few oranges and inject them with vodka so you will have vodka and fresh orange

Mcmitten Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Stadium sports bar Wembley is just open to Scotland supporters. However are charging £20 per person.

Apparently, since the fluid in oranges is contained within the tiny segments then I was reliably informed that this master plan would not work. Theres nowhere for the additional fluid (vodka) to remain contained. Vodka jelly - on the other hand! Ps. The bars and food stalls are open at Wembley.
brixton footsoldier Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Albion Blackfriars has been good historically. Went to the Scottish Store, new place just east of KX by the Scala fur the Czech game, good place / friendly bunch - could be worth seein if they have space. (Think they’re stowed durin the game but..)
geetos10 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Hi, anyone got a spare seat in a pub for the game on Friday and happy to take a stray in for the evening? I'll get the first round in 😁
