Bob Crampsey?!?!

It's I.M.D. Foote from Stirling.

Along with J.R.P. Gordon from Newport-on-Tay two of the best twelfth men pre-Sevco had in the sixties and seventies.

J.R.P. (and two Scottish linesmen) eventually got done for taking a 'gift' (a Rolex or similar) around 1979 from AC Milan before a European fixture.

Fair enough, I don't have his face burned into memory as you seem to have Barney 😋.

Looking at Crampsey pics, he was maybe a bit leaner looking back then too.

Btw I think the original photo must be earlier than 1977. Andy Gray signed for Villa in 1975.

Could be mate. I got it off a Scottish FB page. I thought it said 1977, but I could definitely be mistaken..

I'm wondering what the occasion was, and looking at Scotland League lineups? https://www.londonhearts.com/SFL/sea/all.html

I found it Jim. This was taken in the 1975 season.  The players in the above picture were selected as "Team of the Season" for 1975.. Done a search on ma FB and found it..👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yep, Sunday Mail team of the season 74/75. Unsure if Mr Foote was the ref of the year or the 4th Rangers player ;)

Never mind the players, the tops across the board are glorious compared to the current day abominations.

Spot on Jim. I hate the new tops. Tight fitting thermal hygienic fuckin kevlar flashy fuck all. Bring back the old taps.. I have a Celtic tap me Granda gave me from the early 70s, it's to wee obviously now, but I remember wearing it as a wee boy and it was itchy as fuck..🤣🤣

I had the full Mexico 86 away kit and my old dear washed it with something she shouldn’t have first time and it came out lime green!  And I still wore it religiously!

Oh no, that is unfortunate. I would disown her..😉. The white satin shorts with the blue stripe around them, I wore them everywhere. It was a crackin strip, top to bottom..

They were the days, we didn't even get a new strip for the world cup back then. I got the top the year before for the Rous cup game against England.

It was pishing doon that day and we were in the Celtic end, covered myself with one of those remember Bannockburn flags and all the yellow ran in to the white piping on the top, ragin
