Yeah, Turkey under performed at the Euro's, but still a strong team (probably less so than Poland would be). With Russia and Ukraine unable to be paired, I suppose that up's your odd's slightly as a seeded team of getting Ukraine, and if you do, takes away Russia from your potential seeded teams in the final. Chris Sutton I believe was doing the commentary. I believe he said even though Scotland are guaranteed a home semi at Hampden, he also said, I believe, they could possibly have the final at Hampden, should we get there.. Is this correct? I suppose it depends if other 2nd place teams lower than us get to the final.. I am by no means taking this for granted, one match at a time... Portugal are guaranteed to be No 1 seed. At present we will be No 2 seed though Wales could push us down to No 3 seed (the lowest we can go) but it would need Wales to win by two goals against Belgium. I don't know how they will actually do it but I'm fairly certain Italy and Portugal will be kept apart, and get home ties in the final using some sort of jiggery pokery. They could even have mirrored that with the unseeded so the team with worst nations league record faces Seed 1, best nations league record faces Seed 2, worst runners-up record faces seed 3, ninth worst runners up face seed 4, eighth worst runners-up face seed 5 and seventh worst runners up face seed 6. If they had chosen to do it that way (at present) our path would be:- Semi-Final:- Scotland V Austria Final: Scotland V Sweden. That would be a cracking path.
