The other thing is Gerrard ruled out McCrorie playing as centre half and he is about 6ft 2 in. Ross McCrorie is about 6 foot maybe 6"1, he isn't that tall. He also wasn't very strong at the time and used to get absolutely bullied by Dembele. Until Caxinha I'm sure McCrorie was mostly a RB, so his positioning wasn't great at CB.
