romanticscot
Psychologically will take a knock more than actually having a cohesive team tomorrow with the players we have left. This is the biggest game for us in a long time, not sure 17 years to be honest, so the camp needs to move on with preparation and not panic. He'd already tested negative then UEFA tested him positive so I wouldn't be surprised if it was wrong, everything else they do is wrong! Caledonian Craig
Well anyway the rest of the squad have been tested twice now and got an all clear.

Agree 100%, take the pressure of all players, no need for it in an already crowded fixture list. Play the previous one splay off and be done with it. If countries want to, play a friendly. romanticscot
Surely we can for Sunday, it's technically a different season or whatever, we haven't declared our 16 man match squad. Edited October 7, 2020 by romanticscot
0Neils40yarder
McKenna and Palmer are the biggest losses if it means they are going to be replaced by Gallagher and ODonnell... ...Christie and Armstrong, I'm not that fussed about while Tierney will nae doubt be delighted that he has been made to withdraw

Everyone acknowledges the extent of his injury problems the Last couple of years now. If they don’t they should try and find out a bit more

weekevie04
Haven´t seen it confirmed by the SFA, but apparently Paul McGinn & Ross McCrorie will join up with the squad for the Nations League games. I'd get Lewis Ferguson and Kevin Nisbet in there as well. Is that the first squad with 2 sets of brothers then?

I think there may have been a precedents in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century. Will need to look it up on RSSSF.
ErsatzThistle
Looked it up on RSSSF (a fantastic resource btw), nah there hasn't been two sets of brothers together in the same Scotland XI before. The McNeil brothers and the McPherson brothers all played for Scotland around the same time (1870s) but they never all made it onto the pitch together. ErsatzThistle
Andy Considine is exactly the sort of guy who hopes, prays and dreams of a Scotland call up for years and then when it does finally come, he gets locked inside his own bathroom or taken hostage in an armed bank robbery. Sounds like the time when Athletico Bilboa players all got stuck in a revolving door in from of their hotel and missed a European game because of it. ...They learned not to put all their Basques in the same exit. Texas Pete
Nir Bitton has tested positive for COVID 19. What does that mean for our squad?
