Sky's Deadline Day Coverage

Recommended Posts

Surely the biggest pile of unadulterated whank outside of a Jim Murphy soapbox tour ?

there'a reporter on just now outside Chelsea's training ground, saying breathlessly...'nothing has happened today and nothing is expected to happen. Join us again in half an hour !!'

Ah mean.... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I expected that, so cheers.

Just got home early, turned on the TV and that was the channel on. I've now moved on to The Big Bang Theory, if that's OK with you... :wave:

CELTIC were furious last night after long-time signing target Stefan Scepovic pulled out of a £2.2 m move on the eve of the transfer window closing.

Celtic are angry that all the time and effort they put into the negotiating a deal for Scepovic - who they identified as the big attacking presence the team needs - has been rendered futile because of the player's late change of mind. On Saturday he was still telling the club he intended to come, four days after they were knocked out of the Champions League. The transfer deadline closes tonight, giving Celtic no real chance to land an alternative.

Shaughnessy loan confirmed by club now:

"The opportunities have been limited here for Joe this season and playing every week at a good level can only be beneficial for him. We've seen in the past the benefits of players going out on loan, and Joe himself enjoyed a productive spell at Forfar a couple of seasons ago."

The manager added that he does not expect any more transfer activity today, either in or out. "We conducted the majority of our business some time ago in terms of the squad, which I'm happy with, and that should be it for us."
