ErsatzThistle
One concern I have about Paterson is that at the moment he looks to be slightly overweight.
Super_Scotlandfan
Marshall Robertson Cooper Gallagher McTominay O'Donnell Jack McGregor McGinn Dykes McBurnie Must be 532. No wingers in the team.

runningtings
I predict both McBurnie and Dykes will play.

ErsatzThistle
Scotland are actually playing with two up front !
kumnio
BBC think its a 442, but that looks like a 352 to me. If its a 352 and we get beat, Clarke should walk out the door, and keep walking.
ErsatzThistle
Don't know how the BBC got the idea that it's a 4-4-2. That's definitely a 3-5-2 with O'Donnell and Robertson on the wings.

Mclean mcGregor. Robertson McGinn McBurnie. Dykes Fraser, Shankland and Paterson to come off the bench. I thought he would go for Mclean unstead of Jack but got the other 10.. I expect this formation too. I cant see many attacks down our right hand side.

kumnio
Im not buying the Dykes love in by some, he was half decent, but thats it. The praise he was getting was vastly over the top. Having him and McBurnie up top is a strange prospect, and theres almost no creativity in this team. Marshall McTominay Gallagher Cooper O'Donnell Jack McGregor Robertson McGinn Dykes McBurnie
Third Lanark
Willie Miller has just said that you cannot learn the back 3 position in 3 games! Jings. Cannot believe no role for Fraser. Expect loads of high balls.
weekevie04
Two strikers is interesting although two target men/hold up players - surely Dykes/McBurnie plus Shankland is a better fit. 3-5-2 is worrying. If this works, fair dues. Reading the Israelis have a right back at left back or the other way around ; so they have their own issues as well! Don't see how that 11 of ours will create much?! Och well, let's see.
86glebestreet
Clarke must have wrote all players names on paper and slung them on table then picked first
weekevie04
If we lose this, I would hope he would consider his position. Playing players in their natural position is surely the first rule of football management. He's too slow at making changes too ; if we're behind watch him wait til the 70th minute before making a sub or a change. Then again, if it works, and we play great - hat off and he kens better than most of us. Not optimistic at all about tonight.
Tartan blood
Why does no one think it will be 4 at the back? Robertson, Cooper, Gallagher and O'Donnell? Then a 433 or 442 with the rest of the players
vanderark14
It better not be mctominay at the back again.

Very slight possibility that it's some kind of 3-upfront...maybe McBurnie and McGinn behind Dykes.

It'll be madness if McTominay is played deeper than O'Donnell.
