The formation isn’t confirmed yet but if it isn’t a back 4 then Palmer is either playing in the back 3 or is playing as a right wing back. Either choice doesn’t fill me with confidence. We’ll find out soon enough I suppose. If Robertson bombs forward and we are controlling the game then Palmer would naturally move across. Vice versa if Palmer gets forward. I would expect the opposite full back to always tuck in as the central defense covered the vacant space.
