Liverpool:

Tommy Younger

Steve Nicol   Alan Hansen   Ron Yeats   Andy Robertson

Billy Liddell   Gary McAllister   Graeme Souness   John Wark

Ian St John   Kenny Dalglish

Subs: Gary Gillespie   Peter Cormack   Don Hutchison

Reckon that team would take a bit of beating!

11 players who have played for the same club. Pretty hard to get past goal keeper.

Aye, I had to go back to the 19th century to find my Man United goalie.   I'm fairly sure he was a fantastic keeper, but he wouldn't have much to do anyway, with that defense in front of him.

Better than sex that, would love to see a photoshopped team photo of that side in the adidas 80s kit

Bench Graham, Cooper Snodgrass,

73rd best Leeds player ever and highly rated by John Charles one of the best defenders ever.

Leeds team would give Liverpool and Man Utd a game

Stick Jed Steer in goal, he'll be one of us yet.

It would have been easier to fill this team if I'd played 7 or 8 strikers & not bothered too much about the defence. Cowan & Morrison make it in on the basis of being absolute Town legends. I'm sure Gary Naysmith is a better LB than Tommy Cowan, but he nicks it for his skill in doing pumped-up clenched fist salutes in front of the home fans whenever we won.

GK - Sandy Mutch
RB - David Steele
LB - Tom Cowan
CB - Andy Morrison
CB - Murray Wallace
M - Scott Arfield
M - Jimmy McGill
M - Neil McNab
M - Kevin Gallagher
CF - Alex Jackson
CF - Denis Law

Manager - Bill Shankly
Assistant Manager - Andy Beattie
