Think I have been banned once years ago. Cant remember.. I an sure it was warranted. Probably one of my drunken threatening posts of years gone by. I also remember the blazing rows that "Ron" and "Tartanbhoy" would both have, occasionally one would threaten to batter the other into a pulp. They both inevitably got banned. One guy went all puritanical and started lecturing people about "filth" and was saying stuff like "what would your wife think of this ? what would your mother think ?", "there are kids looking at this" and telling people they were a disgrace etc. Can't remember who he was. Thing is, I met him in the.pub when I was over. Turned out to be the nicest lad you would ever meet. I kid you not. We ended up having a few pints in Oniels after the match, superb lad he was.. Went on for ages so i posted his public domain disciplinary record which included a few totally radge incidents to bolster my argument that i was ill and he was actually mental. Mods deleted my posts and kept his up though. This was back when Kernie posted so maybe 15 years ago, the TAMB has grown a lot more tolerant of mental illness was a while i couldn't post an argument without someone (normally Rossy or Reeky) just responding for me to take my pills. Also i used to have a page saved, i never shared, with Reeky saying something very weird and possibly damning if interpeted 1 way embedded in page 3/4 of the memorabilia forum which i never brought up cause its meaning was somewhat ambigious but lost to the annals of time now.
