100 services cancelled in a day.  That seems like a big number.  What’s that Scotrail has around 2000 services daily, so it’s 5%.  Suddenly doesn’t seem like such a big number does it.

So maybe the answer is yes and this is the disruption that we have to live with with this level of Covid cases rather than anything to do with stricter self isolation rules?

Cheers

Boring story but i only ever accessed the TAMB on my desktop PC which was already on it's last legs and running Windows 7

When it stopped being supported last January it became extremely temperamental and sites like the TAMB caused it to crash - which coincided with me being fed up with the usual shite that was being posted so it was a convenient excuse

I see nothing much has changed ....

What a nice surprise 😊 Welcome back to shitsville Ally. Its like a time warp in here and you almost escaped. Nae luck 😁

Hope you are well and all the best for 2022.

Looks like Scotland has won the UK vaccination race. Do you think we could get this added to the next Olympics?

Scotland have done better across all 3 categories. 1st 2nd and 3rd doses.

Also looks like 2 doses plus omicron infection provides good protection from delta, just omicron infection in general not so good.

obviously infections replicating in high numbers world wide isn't ideal but a lot worse variants could have been spat out. Seems the biology of infection has changed with omicron potentially enters cells differently and replicates at different locations, which according to folk that should know is a good thing.

Aye, seems to be targeting the throat and less likely to be heading for the lungs. Loads of new data coming out. Still a lot of it for younger age groups as it's just starting to transfer to the older age groups.

Yeah so now we will start to really see how well the vaccines hold up.

Looks like it might have

Again I'd caution against jumping to conclusions.  There's been a shortage in England of both LTF and PCR tests and guess which areas have the biggest shortages. those with the biggest demand.    The actual numbers are likely to be underestimated because of this.
