Watching the various news reports most are discussing whether he attended or not ? It shouldn't even matter. It was in his garden so he must have agreed to it and he is responsible. Call me cynical but I suspect that Ross is given a certain leeway to criticise the WM leadership as they know that he is absolutely sunk in Scotland if he doesn't, so long as he doesn't actually cause any problems when it really matters.
