I found that a bit odd. Some of those clubs pull crowds of a couple of thousand or more in some pretty small grounds. The crowd density in terms of number of people in 2-3m must be the same as a lot of other games.

That's where I was, crowd of 1600.  Lost 2-1, should've had a penalty, ref was shite.

Was speaking to our chairman after the game and general consensus is that the season is finished now and the FA are working on possible solutions to unpick everything

The nuanced plan.

Exposure to the four endemic coronaviruses produces immunity that lasts longer than that to influenza, [Richard Webby, an influenza expert at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital] said, but not permanent immunity. Like respiratory syncytial virus, which can re-infect adults who had it in childhood, coronavirus immunity wanes.

“Everyone, by the time they reach adulthood, should have some immunity to some coronavirus,” said Tim Sheahan, a coronavirus researcher at University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. But because it doesn’t last, older people can get reinfected. The elderly also have a higher death rate from coronaviruses such as SARS and MERS, a pattern 2019-nCoV is following.

“There is some evidence that people can be reinfected with the four coronaviruses and that there is no long-lasting immunity,” Dr. Susan Kline, an infectious disease specialist at of the University of Minnesota. “Like rhinoviruses [which cause the common cold], you could be infected multiple times over your life. You can mount an antibody response, but it wanes, so on subsequent exposure you don’t have protection.” Subsequent infections often produce milder illness, however.

A woman working as a tour bus guide was reinfected with the coronavirus, testing positive after having recovered from an earlier infection, Osaka’s prefectural government said. Her case, the first known of in Japan, highlighted how much is still unknown about the virus even as concerns grow about its global spread.

Advice issued by the company I work for is more than laughable and this is a major European company. If you think you have it report to work put yourself in a empty meeting room and have a call with occupational health and NHS direct using your own phone and then await further direction. Also if you have to self isolate due to your someone in your house having covid you are required to give proof they have it even though the testing phase is over.

I genuinely thought all companies would have to follow government advice on this.

Two things  - no one will be flying anywhere in a weeks time - so plan for that. Second, the "herd Immunity" thing is utter rubbish and does not apply here - it's also a dangerous experiment and will cost lives. The Scottish Gov will bear as much responsibility for this as the UK one - they need to shut down to the same level as Ireland at the very least right now.

Conversations with myself?

Which other forum member are you accusing me of being? Based on what evidence?

That’s a really strange thing to accuse someone of, unless you have some reasoning behind what you’re saying?

You are boring.  Very boring and as sad as fuck. Now off you pop.

Answer me please.

I promise you that I have had this one account for fifteen years on here, and no other accounts. I have no reason to have any other accounts. If you could explain why you think that, then I could maybe try and defend myself, but I promise you that you have got the wrong end of the stick.

There are people debating on here every day, I’m really confused as to which account(s) you think I am aligned with, and why out of all the debates going on on this forum, something in one of my debates made you think ‘that’s one person ‘debating’ with themself, and pretending to be two different people.’ What on Earth made you come to that conclusion?

Just for emphasis, the first of these says

"Hundreds of scientists have written to the government urging them to introduce tougher measures to tackle the spread of Covid-19.

In an open letter, a group of 229 scientists from UK universities say the government's current approach will put the NHS under additional stress and "risk many more lives than necessary".

Surely this seriously quesitions the UK Govt's so called scientific approach? Does anyone actually trust the British Govt on this?

it's based on computer simulation but it's only as good as the data for the models which is negligible.

It also only works if everyone conforms to it, as a society i've yet to visit a supermarket where everyone put the trolleys back properly let alone manages to follow quarantine protocols properly.

I'm sure it works if everything falls into place with regards to whatever was inputted into the models. The models havem't even been peer reviewed although they say they will be released.

Well, that's not true.

You're well aware that some people have a suspicion you're Chripper/TDK.
