I read that's part of the reason why Ladbroke's aren't renewing, something about an agreement between betting firms to "scale back" their sports sponsorship. We'll see how long that lasts! I thought that just referred to the betting adverts before/at half-time of a game etc. Didn't realise it applied to entire competitions. My guess would be whilst publicly they are bowing to pressure and doing something moral, the reality is the new laws regarding fixed odds betting terminals are killing their high street shops, as they were all that was keeping them open, so marketing is being scaled back to cut costs...
