Fletcher could make a difference with his link up play but he’s not that good that he can miss the qualifiers and just come back in for the play off. Could we possibly nick him back? He's as fast as Burke but can actually control the football and cross and pass the ball. He was injured the entire time Clarke has been in charge so not his fault Boyle was never selected before now... Obviously if he played a competitive game then that's that. Boyle spoke to McLeish after austalia made their interest known and was told he was way down the list of players for getting game time as we had strength in the wide areas although he would have bee. Called up for the shit show tour of he hadn’t been injured. Why would he not take The call for international football and be able to retire in the sun at the end of career. Sputters car is different as he is of a younger age.
