Caledonian Craig
More to the point why is he even being discussed? Scottish Players in Action. Adams is not Scottish by birth and last time he was asked he wasn't Scottish in the heart either. I therefore see no point him being discussed in this thread. He's been played there recently but he's only scored 7 in 40 this season and i doubt Cardiff will rely on him to be their main striker in the future. Guy had wee run of 4 games where he scored in the epl and everyone thought he might turn out to be a good striker. His goal record this season shows it was just a lucky run. Edited July 15, 2020 by mccaughey85

Stuart87
Matt Ritchie isnât interested in Scotland. I havenât listened to it but apparently he didnât want to talk about Scotland at all when he was interviewed by Simon Ferry.

ParisInAKilt
Surprised heâs still only 30 Ritchie, finished for us now but that goal against Poland was pretty special
wanderer
Ritchie just never had the pace for international football, and it did upset the rhythm of the team when Strachan tried to shoehorn him in. While he was arguably the best dead ball specialist we have had since Faddy, I just think we have better players than him to call upon. Can't think of many things Faddy did from a dead ball. Faddy was superb, a real game changer but dead ball specialist he was not.

He didn't even score from that penalty against Iceland. Great player running with the ball at his feet, but not really the dead ball specialist.

He scored at least one penalty for us against Sweden in 2004. Unfortunately we were already 4-0 down when it happened. Bugger. I mind he scored a free kick and a penalty for Birmingham against Arsenal back in 2008.
