ProudScot
Liam Lindsay and Matt Phillips both starting on sky sports 1 in 10 mins. Be interesting to see how Lindsay gets on.
romanticscot
Anyone keeping tabs on how Oliver Burke is getting on? He is getting some decent appearances, I am curious to know if he is starting and playing decent. in other news Jordan Rhodes may be on the way out of Hillsborough, a team playing the right way to his strengths should get him among the goals. ProudScot
Lindsay was pretty solid tonight. Championship so it’s hard to gauge the level but he’s about 6’4, fast and defends well. Unsure of his balling abilities but he probably is more worthy of a squad place than the likes of Devlin.

Lindsay's career seems to be moving in the right direction. He had a sticky start at Stoke but seems to be turning the corner. He was solid enough when with Barnsley in the championship and the first division, th last two seasons. There was plenty on here touting him three years ago when he was a stand out in the SPL for thistle. Maybe if he had stayed here he would have a dozen caps. Him playing regularly between now and the play-off would be a massive boost IMO. For me, it's no coincidence that the unbeaten run towards the end of Strachan's time in charge of Scotland was when he broke into the team. weekevie04
Good to hear some players getting in to form, fingers crossed also that McGinn, McTominey and Tierney will be back too.
bigfingers
Seems like Armstrong doesn't play a central role for the saints. Could maybe use him in a wider role if needed.

killiefaetheferry
Armstrong getting MoM according to Southampton fan sites. Apparently scored a beauty from outside the box and great all game.

csinclair
Just seen Armstrong's goal what a finish. If McGinn is out I'd have Christie in his place with Armstrong wide right given how well he's doing there for Southampton of late.
