Ryan Christie so much better since he’s been put in the middle after being ineffective on the right. And Callum McGregor not really offering much, overall though Forrest just is so much better in his actual position on the right. Same with Christie in the CAM role. Maybe something Clarke will be worth considering to accommodate Fraser,Forrest,Christie in the same team for the playoffs https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1266305/Live/International-UEFA-Nations-League-C-2018-2019-Albania-Scotland https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1266306/Live/International-UEFA-Nations-League-C-2018-2019-Scotland-Israel There's a couple of ways to have the three in the team, just happen to be our best performances in ages too McTominay for Mcgregor and McGinn for Armstrong and you have our best eleven players on the park in positions they can play. All this stuff about McGinn as a number ten is delusional, goals against a couple of the worst teams in the world really don't prove any thing

mccaughey85
There will likely be an injury or two til our midfield options anyways so the choice of who plays will be made easier for Clarke.

bigfingers
Mcginn is a big loss BUT we have players to take his place. Could play Christie there, or we can play mcgregor there with Jack and mctominay in behind.

Our goalkeeping talent has more or less disappeared. We are short of defenders and end up we two incredible left backs. McKenna arrives on the scene and then starts to regress. We finally have players in midfield playing regularly in one of Europe's top leagues and our new talisman gets injured. We have one prolific striker in Griffiths who has lost the plot. One striker playing well in the championship who doesnt give a fuck about scotland so we are left with Naismith who's playing for the Scottish premierships worst team or mcburnie, a hobo who nobody likes. I cant wait for the playoffs 😂😂😂

It's essentially a joke competition anyway, the South Americans take it seriously but the Europeans don't
McTeeko
Three months out for McGinn seems a bit long for a fractured ankle. Hopefully they’re just pointing towards the worst case scenario.

ceudmilefailte
Grant Hanley has started Norwich's last two games as has Stuart Armstrong for Southampton, so a wee bit of Christmas cheer Not sure how long David Bates has been injured , but it hasn't been all season and he never started a game when he was fit.
