They maybe need a change to go to another level. They are finishing pretty much where they should based on budget/resources. They are not overachieving or punching above their weight at the moment (or any time under McInnes). Correct. On the game itself, we simply weren’t good enough. They were a better team than us by miles and the last round is our comfort level in european football. Personally though, I blame the likes of Motherwell, St Johnstone etc etc. If they gave us regular tough matches, we would be better prepared for these games, but they don’t, so it’s all their fault that we’re stagnating. Not St Mirren though, they’re pretty decent by all accounts. Djorkaeff plays for them and he won the World Cup.

EddardStark
Question on seedings.. If we beat Legia does that mean we take their place in pot 2? Pot 1 in Europa League is scary. Man Utd, Sevilla and Arsenal are just some of the teams in there.

Think it’s only early rounds where the draws are done before the round before is complete, so draw assumes top seed win. Pot 4 for rangers. https://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/seedel2019.html

If we got through there could be could get a group that included Man Utd, PSV AND Basel. All recent CL participants.

This is his 3rd shot at rebuilding since his decent team broke up, looked encouraging against the Georgians at Pittodrie but worrying signs that we're slipping back to how we played last season. Maybe we'll see Bryson one day and he'll improve the ability to control and pass a football in midfield. Last night the Croatians were simply better at controlling, passing, dribbling at a decent tempo. We would probably have released their number 8 when we was young for being "too wee"! Just looking at some of the potential groups Rangers could get, if they get through, it shows how the draw can make or break a campaign - Sevilla, Braga, Eintracht Frankfurt or Arsenal, PSV, Torino looks very different to CSKA Moscow, Ludogorets, Steaua Bucharest or Wolfsburg, BATE, Standard Liege. EddardStark
0-0 is always a dangerous score to take back to the home leg. However if we score first I am confident they will open up and we will get more opportunities. Fancy us to get the job done at home.

It is, particularly as Legia still haven't conceded a goal in this years' competition (seven games). You've got to fancy Rangers to get the job done at Ibrox though.
