He should go undoubtedly- worst result in our history.  If he beats Russia and belgium away that would help restore some credibility

The thought of Russia and (especially) Belgium running at our disorganised shambles of a team will likely keep me awake for weeks. Both of these sides will absolutely fkin annihilate us.

Any ambitious and progressive organisation would not accept it and sack him

Which is why he will stay - along with him being part of the Unionist cabal

Get this arsehole out of the job as a matter of urgency.

In one :ok:

Peter Grant (who has been a disaster at every single club side that has employed him as a manager or coach) and James McFadden (the SFA should not be employing charity cases) too.

Mcleish has to go. I think we were incredibly lucky with our nations league draw and on another night could easily have lost at home to Israel. Defensively we are horrific and no attempt to protect them. Travel across 6 time zones, dodgy pitch, baltic, what do you need? A few experienced heads. We've no got that, so what do you do? Keep it tight early, play your way into the game? Nope. The most Scotlandy performance you will ever see.

A lot of people are blaming call offs, people like Mcarthur and Ritchie lorded as game changers. I've seen all 48 caps of their cumulative careers and they wouldn't improve us. Our midfield is strong, but is far too expansive. Tonight Mctominay should've started, right in front of the back 4. McGinn and McGregor in a tight 3. Who cares if it's a dull goalless first half? Stay in the game.

Questions. Where's David Marshall? Hardly a world class keeper, but at least he's experienced and playing at a similar / higher level than those in the squad. Whatever happened to Phil Bardsley? Playing every week in the premiership, but can't get in ahead of O'Donnell and the likes. Why did we not call up another left back? We must've known there was a chance Tierney and Robertson would miss the game before we flew out.

Lets all pray the SFA see sense and give a new manager 8 friendlies to prepare for the nations league.

Woeful. Utterly unacceptable! McLeish is a clueless charlatan and needs punted asap. A couple of decent displays v Albania and a lucky win v Israel just doesn't cut it. We need to start again but does anybody have any confidence in the SFA to make the correct decisions? I certainly don't.

McLeish go & please take Graeme Shinnie with you. So out his depth.

Shinnie is there as a back up option, he will never be a starter. You’re being unfair singling our one player when every single one of them showed nothing yesterday.

Mcliesh can go, his reign was over at the start, in fact Strachan gave the players plenty excuses like “they don’t get paid” the minute you give people excuses they will use them.

Agree. All 11 of them were rotten. Not a single player comes out of that with any credit.

We badly missed a left-back, Fraser and Fletcher.

McLeish will not walk and unfortunately he's going to be our manager until at least June as even he isn't shite enough to get a bad result in San Marino.  If they did sack him it still wouldn't be enough, McRae and Petrie need to follow him, they're the ones who insisted on giving him the job.

I would normally agree as SFA take ages to make a decision and always go for option least likely to cost them money. However there was a strong rumour in media that McLeish was going to leave after the Israel home game regardless of the result which makes me think there is a possibility he could decide to go after this weekend.

Who else is going to pay him £250k a year?  He was on the dole with no chance of another managers job anywhere.  He won’t leave  on his own.

Nothing

This, before anything else is our downfall. There's an old saying "shit falls down the way"

Shinnie is rancid. He almost stood and applauded the pass/run for the second goal. He should retire from international duty with immediate effect, taking that other muppet McKenna with him back to Aberdeen.

yes, lets get rid of a young scottish defender who has more potential than any other scottish defender, thats a great idea. Mckenna isn't the muppet here, thats clearly yourself.

Shinnie has said in today's papers he doesn't expect to be called up for duty again after his performance

You honestly think after that the lad has potential as an international class centre back? Really?

yes I do, as do most scottish football fans. It is only potential at the moment, he will have bad games because he is still learning. He has been immense lately for Aberdeen and his previous games for Scotland were good too. He had a howler yesterday but so did everyone of the experienced pros on that field, at least McKenna has the excuse of being young and raw. Whats the excuse of Shinnie? Armstrong? McGregor? Forrest?
