The reason I posted 40s, 50s, 60, is so the older folk like Jim Beam, Vanderark, DandyDunn, LarkyMasher, Oraloon, just to name a few, would not feel left out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Have had a think. 60s to 90s is near impossible, so many possibilities! Anyway...

1940s - Stardust - Nat King Cole

1950s - Summertime Blues - Eddie Cochran

1960s - Who Knows Where The Time Goes? - Fairport Convention 

1970s - Perfect Day - Lou Reed

1980s - Can't Hardly Wait - The Replacements

1990s - Nightswimming - REM

1940s don't think I  have one.

1950s it keeps rainin  fats domino (I think it might be 1960 but  can't be arsed checking)

1960s song of a baker  small faces

1970s pretty vacant  sex pistols 

1980s absolute beginners  the jam

1990s common people  pulp.

Had to check, fats domino was 1961 so for the 50s I'll go jailhouse rock   Elvis.
