Did any players still alive from the 1959-1965 era, when Kilmarnock were one of the best teams in the country, make an appearance ?

Davie Sneddon (Scored in at Tynecastle) and Ronnie Hamilton were there from the 65 team.

The wives (and families) of Frank Beattie (Captain) and Brien McIlroy (the other goalscorer in 65) where there too.

The oldest living Killie player, 92 year old former goalie Jock Murdoch was there too supposedly.

John Barnes from the BBC was the compere for the night.

He's a massive Killie fan, shareholder etc and was really good to have somebody with a genuine affection for the club do that on the night.

There were local MP's, MSP's, Provosts and council leaders there.  All of them to a man (and woman in Cathy Jamieson's case) have been long term season ticket holders at the club and I'm not sure how common that is in Scotland.

Most of them won a prize in the raffle too

Who's the black fella in the picture alongside Steve Clarke?

Alex Dyer, he's his assistant at Killie.

Great big guy, seems he's a huge part of the success.

Worked with Clarke at West Ham when Clarke was assistant to Zola.
