louisville Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Hi irnbruman. I went by Austrian from Heathrow via Vienna to Podgorica. Missed connection at Vienna, was put up overnight by the airline and caught another flight out next morning via Belgrade. Arrived in Podgorica about 20 hours after originally meant to. I tried filling in the compensation forms online on the Austrian Airlines website but they knocked me back, saying that my first flight was only delayed by 5 minutes due to air traffic flow restrictions which are out of their control. How did you claim? Was it through their online site or did you do it by some other method? They only gave me 25 minutes transfer time between flights at Vienna - so obviously the slightest delay causes missed connections.
