We are staying in Bologna on the Friday,  where's everyone staying? Had a look at the best western  not sure if its too far out?

Us too. We don't arrive in Bologna until very late though, so we were just going to try and book somewhere handy for the train station for getting to Rimini the next day.

We ended up getting an apartment near Santa Lucia Station for easy getaway on the Saturday,  and  train booked through to Rimini via Bologna 10:42am.

So plenty time for a look round venice Friday night.

I've booked 13 of us on the Monday morning 0333 from Rimini to Milan Centrale, take it you are on the 1145 to Edinburgh? Welcome to tag along m8.... Booked the train through Trenitalia and was 36-50 Euros a skull. On the Davy bus after game, pick up stuff at hotel, few pints and train.....that is the plan.

There's five of us going for that flight home from Milan too.  We looked at the 0333 train, but decided on the 0550 train which still gets there in plenty of time.  Maybe time to grab a couple of hours kip before going for the train.

Similar for us, were staying in Venice on Thursday night. Trainline is simple and gives you multiple options.

We've got a direct train to Rimini on the Friday, plenty time for us to have a look about Venice, thursday night/friday morning.
