Pick the top 3 now.

The top 3 have changed, we're not top in either of those predictions.

Same three teams at the top (occupying either first, second, or third) means that the top three teams haven't changed.

I know that you're trying to say something clever, but any permutation would make my statement correct.

You'd get a standing ovation from us AFTER (and only AFTER) the game.

Folk said exactly the same about Leicester.

On a related note, Leicester went top for the first time on 5th December (so did we) and then went on to play the defending champions (Chelsea) and beat them 2-1 in their next game.

Just thought I'd put that out there.

Fair enough mate. Saturday should ba a cracker then. 🙂

Celtic do have depth in their squad, but they threw a few of the fringe players in on Wednesday and were pretty hopeless. They need these guys to step up and take their chance like Ryan Christie did If their depth of squad is to be a strength.

Motherwell had a few good years under Stuart McCall with a core of about 15 players. Quality over quantity.

If things are going well and you avoid injuries etc. You can build a momentum.

With European football and players away on international duty, Celtic have to rotate a bit, but Killie will be hoping to play the same 11 players most weeks.

Very good points.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that you'll have it pretty much bang on by May.

Aberdeen quietly going about their business, glad we’ve been written off. Played shite, Killie been amazing, Rangers are back 🙈, yet we’re 1 point off the top of the table :)

The league’s so tight, Motherwell could be nearer to Celtic than Dundee by this time tomorrow.

Yup. A big week ahead for us.

Two tough home games and a tough away game. While Rangers also have a tough run of Hibs (x2), Celtic and St Johnstone away. 3 wins for AFC (which is clearly going to be a tough task) and we could go in to the Christmas break at the top of the league

Sammy Cosgrove and May look like a partnership and McLennan has meant GMS hasn't been missed too much. We're starting to look like our old selves again...

Killie have Hamilton, Motherwell and St Mirren in our next 3 games, whilst on paper the others have much tougher games.

Unfortunately football isn't played on paper!

Big 10 days coming up!

It's almost like McInnes loses some top men every summer and the replacements take the first half of the season to bed in before hitting form. Unfortunately the hardcore "McInnes Out" brigade never seem to remember that from one year to the next...

If only we knew which Motherwell you’re playing.

We never turn up for Accies away, so decent chance we will turn up at Rugby Park.

Robinson has hinted he’ll rite off tonight’s game to keep players fresh for other games.

I think that people have every right to question why we've been so poor this season. We lost McLean (which we knew about in January) and we chose to let Rooney go.

McInnes has brought in May for £400k (2017), Cosgrove (Jan 2018) for £30k, Forrester for circa £250k and Gleeson to replace these guys. I don't think it's unfair to question if that £700k outlay has been wisely spent. Particularly as Gleeson and Forrester can't even get on the pitch. He's known about losing players and if he's failed to replace them, then that's his fault.

It's good to see he's finally prepared to try playing 2 up front. Although monumentally frustrating that he never tried it at all last season when we had Greg Stewart (who's now tearing up the league playing as a second striker for Killie).

There's plenty McInnes deserves to be criticised for, so i don't think attempting to label those doing so as some sort of blinkered "brigade" is correct, nor fair.

If you can pick up 6 or 7 points in the next 3 matches it will make for a very interesting January.

It is always easier to attract players when you are flying high and I'm sure Clarke will be looking to strengthen if he can.

However, when you are doing well, there is always the risk of players being taken away.  There must be loads of clubs looking at the likes of Taylor, Findlay, Jones. Brophy and others.
