Read a refreshing interview with him yesterday about how he his loving life, not only playing for Hearts, but playing in the SLP. He basically said it's laughable that the SPL is supposedly on par with League one and anyone who says it is should come up the road to try it.

He also says about how when he played for Luton, there was no opposition that got him excited to play against, but up here, most games are a great occasion.

Definitely over past 2 or 3 years the standard has been improving, but there is still a fair amount of dross kicking about.

Hibs Hearts Rangers all appear to have improved greatly this season, Kilmarnock Mulumbu down don't seem any less weakened along with a great Livingston start.

With the runs in Europe there appears a better perception being out there that Scottish football isn't all that bad... just need the international team to improve.

I think what helps us to is Scottish football still has character. Mangers at each others throats, plenty of passionate derby games. Even daft decisions about semi finals are taking points. Whenever I see the highlights of the English leagues, it just seems teams turn up, they play the game, they go home.
