Yes that would do for me.

Fairly decent.... my concerns would be I prefer Andy Robertson at full back not wing back.  I prefer Tierney at full back not centre half.  I want to accommodate Fraser.  Not convinced Griffiths deserves a start.

Problem is that you'd then have either Robertson or Tierney playing on the wrong side of the pitch. At least in the current line-up you can fit both into the team without them looking too uncomfortable. I think two strikers is the way forward and I see what you are saying about Griffiths but he has recently found the net for his club unlike other strike options for us.

I really want to see griffiths and Naismith play up top together. Its not as if we're going away to top side where we'd prodominantly be sitting back not seeing much possession. We're likely to have more possession. I reckon they would cause them damage. Perfect foils for each other, on paper anyway.

Way things are at the moment would be doing well to name a squad at the moment let alone a team.

Don't mean that in a bad way, there seems to be more competition for places than usual, or is that just me?

Go on, I'll give it a go

(goalies) Jordan Archer, Craig Gordon, Alan McGregor

(defenders) Michael Devlin, Scott McKenna, Charlie Mulgrew, Stephen O'Donnell, Calum Paterson, Andy Robertson (c), Graeme Shinnie, John Souttar, Kieran Tierney

(midfielders) Stuart Armstrong, Tom Cairney, Ryan Fraser, Kevin McDonald, John McGinn, Calum McGregor, Scott McTominay,

(forwards) Leigh Griffiths, Oli McBurnie, Steven Naismith, Johnny Russell,

Pretty much the squad I would pick with maybe snodgrass included.  I think the key question is whether we are playing 4-5-1-1, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 or 3-5-1-1

Cairney is only just back from injury, and think the Scotland game might just be a week or two early for him.

Do not think squad will vary much from the last one (think Phillips is still out a few more weeks?) and probably find will be same team that played v Albania (though Snodgrass seems to have hit some form in last few weeks, so chance he might be picked this time (rather than wait for call off's) and he might even start).

I'd stick Eamonn Brophy up front with Greg Stewart.

You are an idiot.

I'd never leave Shaun Maloney and Ross Wallace out.

This would be my XI (although the 2 centre-backs might be a bit risky), but it is nothing like what McLeish will pick -

Gordon

Tierney      Souttar     McKenna     Robertson

McGinn     Armstrong     McGregor

Forrest                       Griffiths                      Fraser

I think it will be more like this -

McGregor

Souttar      Mulgrew     Tierney

O'Donnell     McGinn     McDonald     McGregor     Robertson

Griffiths     Naismith

More questions have to be asked of Tom Cairneys exclusion tbh. Eck has tried to claim there is nothing sinister about it and Fulham have just said he is unavailable, although he played 20 mins at the weekend for them so he is obviously fit. He may not be quite up to speed yet and still recovering maybe from the injury but these games are two weeks away! He must be fit enough by then surely
