DTS most certainly lied about the first ditty, perhaps even the second.

Several on here who, probably weren't even at that game, are desperate to believe him.

These guys are chasing people who, just now and again wish to have normal debate, away.

Fenian (possibly/probably)

Billy boys??? That’s just a down right fucking lie, we both know it. You’ve made yourself look very silly here 😂😂😂

There was chanting to the tune of the Billy Boys before the game at the top of Easter Road

I concur it may not have been the Billy boys and whether it was fenian blood or not but the sad fenian bastard at full time directed towards Neil Lennon makes me think it was

Willing to be corrected on the Billy boys

Any Aberdeen supporter attempting to sing a song in relation to the BB would be absolutely hunted by our own.

You were positive when posting that we did though.

Brings into question your account of the 2nd song, even if it was sung with those words.

I’d be very surprised if anything to that tune apart from HaHa, HaHaHaHa etc etc came from any Aberdeen fan.

Possibly chelsea infiltrating the ranks?

Sad but true, there's far too many zoomers on here now who just want to wind people up and argue.

The mods have let a bunch of complete arseholes and lunatics run riot.

Dandy Dunn has cleared up what the lyrics may have been before the game but it was clear as day that Neil Lennon was a sad fenian bastard

If you are in denial that there is a sectarian element within your clubs support, however large or small that element may be, then perhaps people like you are also part of the problem. That goes for all clubs support, not just Aberdeen

Nonsense.

Haha, haha, etc was only ever 'sung' to mock Rangers when things were going against them. We 'stole' it from Celtic. It must be c.15 years+ since I've heard it aired.

The rest of your post is desperately / deliberately trying to divert attention from the made up bull you've posted.

My reply to Slasher earlier in the thread also renders your attempt to smear me as ridiculous too.

I see what you’re saying, but in aberdeen and I know this isnt an excuse, but a fenian to an aberdeen fan isn’t a sectarian insult, it’s a derogatory term for a Celtic fan with no religious hatred involved (I realise no one will buy this) but in my experience, it is what it is. I call many of my Celtic supporting friends a fenian bastard and they know what im getting at, and I’m a catholic myself 😂

I realise that none of my friends are members of a paramilitary group, just as I dont actually shag sheep in my spare time.

This is a new one on here, Aberdeen has a sectarian element. Well fuck me sideways, well done you've sank below rolling hills and big ramy.

😂😂😂

A cheap shot from well but I don't how many games I've watched where I've urged Celtic not to give the ball back and it certainly livened up the second half after a pretty routine first.

Henderson was good, Édouards second goal was amazing and Tierney done looked in decent shape. The boy that scored the Motherwell goal was excellent, exposed Toljan again and again on the left

In what way have I attempted to personally smear you?

Unless you were one of the ones singing that Neil Lennon was a fenian bastard then you smeared yourself

There was a time when paki, Chinky and darkie wasn’t a racial insult but times have changed, perhaps it’s time to drag yourselves into the 21st century

It certainly sounded like there was a sectarian element at the cup game earlier this season

Aye, that’s right, it’s all just good banter.

You are a clown and well done for highlighting what I said earlier in the thread...you’re part of the issue.

Poor from them but within the rules I suppose.

I'd rather talk about young Henderson's performance than them. Very impressive. Hell of a free kick from Eduoard as well. Good to see him back among the goals, also with a rare header too.

Some incredible meltdowns happening on twitter and Facebook. Apparently the spfl need to take action against the ref for allowing the goal to stand 😂😂

Ref is completely powerless.

Sounds like a dick move from James Scott, my only excuse for him is, it was his 1st start, and maybe he’s had a rush of blood..

I didn’t see it, I told the missus I’d go to Tesco if Celtic went 2-0 up, so was escorted from the premises as half time and missed all the drama.

Motherwell seemed well in the game up until the Aldred injury. Looked accidental to me, so fuck knows why Edouard got booked....but (humour me) if he did mean it, how the fuck is it only a yellow?

Ref has got it wrong either way.

My only other take from the game is that Tom Boyd (the only Motherwell captain most living ‘well fans have seen lift a trophy) is an utter cunt of a man! Truly horrific. I wish I’d listened to the 2nd half to hear that pricks meltdown at the goal.

Looks like a terrific prospect young Henderson, reminded me of Paul McStay.

Rodgers has a big weakness in Europe that he can't adjust his tactics to cope when we are the weakest team on the pitch. It's frustrating and I hope he looks at it for next season.

However, I am so happy with him as our manager because of the fantastic impact he is having on young (mainly Scottish) players.

Bain, Tierney, McGregor, Forrest and Christie have all improved under him. Burke seems to be benefiting too. Johnston and Henderson are getting opportunities under him and do not look out of place.

If he can get Griffiths back on track and make a player out of Ralston and Hendry then it will be great for both Celtic and Scotland.

I've said it before but Rodgers is having a massive positive impact on the national team and it will be a massive loss when he does leave Celtic Park.

I love a good old fashioned bounce up, and hate giving the ball back, especially when theres not even an injury (not the case here I know). Should be far less of it.

Any particular reason why you think that about Boyd?

Absolutely deserved at least a point. Hearts were rotten, but take nothing away from St Mirren. Tansey should have had a straight red for his tackle on Dikamona mind.

Just saw that tackle again, it was indeed a shocker, if that’s not a straight red nothing is, we certainly got away with one there.

What about Dikamona tweeting about it yesterday? 🙈

And then tagging the SPFL before deleting it  when John McGinn called him a grass......

Yeah I saw that lol, sticking up for his old club that both of his brothers also currently play for, and a former Hibee, bet he’s popular down Gorgie way.

Still trying to recover from the weekend, I’m a total lightweight these days, that’s what happens when you drink with tdyer63, ( thanks for the lift back to the airport yesterday )
