I've seen plenty of seats broken at Hampden, especially after the England goals.

Difference being is that there isn't areas of Hampden as overcrowded as yesterday. You can bash on pretending to be upset about broken seats if you like though.

I'm not upset. I'm just pointing out the blatant hypocrisy demonstrated by you.

Who is responsible for the overcrowding? Who forced too many Celtic fans into the seat destroying huddle?

Toilets couldn't have been too badly damaged otherwise you'd think Killie would have mentioned it in their statement.

Never mind though, a hun from Renfrew knows better than them, probably because he read it on follow follow.

No, I read it on here actually.

I don't go on Follow Follow, it's full of timposters and lunatics. Anyone who logs on there is either mentally unbalanced or just plain stupid.

But you keep up the sweeping. Is your name really Lu Tze? 😉

Kilmarnock director Billy Bowie has revealed "embarrassed" Celtic chiefs apologised to him for their fans' behaviour at Rugby Park.

The Killie supremo expects the club to take action against their own supporters after Kris Boyd was hit by a coin and subjected to sectarian abuse, fans invaded the pitch and seats were left broken.

Scott Brown's late winner for the Hoops sparked bedlam in the way end as supporters spilled onto the park and more than 150 seats were damaged.

Bowie says Parkhead bosses personally apologised to him for the incidents. He said: "The Celtic directors apologised after the game.

They were embarrassed by what happened with their fans and they did apologise to me personally.“I don’t doubt for a minute that Celtic will be taking action against those responsible.”

Under SPFL rule H40, Celtic will be automatically hit with the bill for the trashed seats and it's understood the cost could run into tens of thousands.

Bowie insists these incidents do not only leave clubs with repairs to carry out and bills to pay, but tarnish the reputation of Scottish football. He added: "When you are showing a good game of football live on TV, stuff like that does spoil it.

But again, it’s the minority. There are a lot of clever fans out there, but a minority is to blame. “There is a lot of criticism about stewarding and policing and we need to look at what happened on Sunday.

“But the main thing for us is the safety of fans. We will be having meetings this week to decide on a way forward.”

Heard last night that the outcome of the board meeting was that both Celtic and Rangers will be getting the Chadwick Stand only from now on.

If so then Celtic fans being cunts has done us a favour.

Areas were apparantly overcrowded, obviously that's the fault of the minimum wage stewards for not doing their jobs properly, nothing at all to do with supposedly grown adults who choose to go and stand in areas where they don't have tickets and make the area overcrowded.

I'll tell you what would stop it, if Celtic - or any other team with a similar problem - wrote to everyone who was issued a ticket for each seat that was damaged and told them they wouldn't be receiving any more away tickets, and assuming they're a season ticket holder, cancelling their season ticket for the rest of the season.

Won't happen though.

"This might not be your fault, and we have no evidence to back it up either way, however we are cancelling your season ticket for a seat that was smashed at a game you might not have even attended King regards". Fantastic idea. Got any more?

In those cases then you take action against the person with the seat behind.

The whole point is to make the whole support view it as something that is anti social, comes at a cost which may well impact them directly.   If the guy behind you is clambering all over your seat, you're going to do something about it, either directly or will get the stewards to get them out.

Aye, but mind on that the stewards are on minimum wage. Can't be expecting them to do their job properly, right?

Just caught up with this thread, fair puckle seats were  broken after Celtic's latest visit to McDiarmid as well. Nae need

Seems to be a theme here.  I fell sorry for the Celtic directors having to fork out every second week for an element of scummy support.  Surely they can be identified nowadays.

That final bit won’t happen. They’ll not want to be left with yet more empty seats and less income.

Nice whanky phrase alert...”supremo”. Daily Record surely wrote that?

Hey Macy, Rangers have the same problem probably even worse with sectarianism.  But breaking seats is plain vandalism.  The decent supporters should be trying to pinpoint these gits as well.  After a great win for Celtic on Sunday these cunts have put a nasty side to our game which is the talking point and not the game itself.  They should be ashamed of themselves but won't be.  It will be another badge.  Fighting with plastic seats and winning.

Want a bet on that?

Celtic couldn't even fill one stand under Ronnie at RP so it'll be nothing new.

I hope you were spewing watching it.

I don't post much on this forum, but read it almost daily and you are undoubtedly one of the biggest morons on here...

...as for spewing watching Kilmarnock lose a late goal to the manky mob, nah, almost the opposite, I was relatively pleased that Killie lost on Sunday.

The state they left the South Stand at Fir Park in a season or two back, was deliberate. I watched, as lads literally kicked fuck out of seats...the big hard men that they are.

No surprise given the clip of his football. It would be an odd strategy biting off a feeding hand but each to their own if that’s what they wish to do. If it happens I hope it doesn’t start out fans trying to purchase home tickets.

You didn't go to the game but you passed your ticket on to some dickhead, well you should still be held accountable for passing your ticket on to a dickhead who trashed a seat.

There was a lot of stuff going on over the weekend, mainly in respect to a tweet from South Ayrshire police as to how they'd averted some major meltdown by confiscating some bottles of Buckie from Ayr United fans en route to Cappielow.   People were quite rightly drawing attention to the double standards compared to how rubgy fans were treated with Tennents handing out free cans of lager.

There's a huge elephant in the room here, while a - small minority - persist in anti-social and unlawful behaviour like this,  it gives the police and authorities the excuse to treat all football supporters as potential troublemakers.

The only way the small minority of dickheads are either going to change their behaviour is when the large majority of ordinary decent fans make it clear that their behaviour is not acceptable.

You obviously have no idea about the changes taking place at Killie. There is no doubt that the current board would be willing to make this change if they believe it to be to the long term interests of the club -  even if it means a reduction to income in the near term.

Aye exactly. On the one hand yove got the good guys trying to roll out safe standing, get alcohol back in stadiums and demonstrate that football fans can be trusted to behave. Then you've got the wanks (most of them in the old firm) trying to prove them wrong and fuck it up at every turn.

It's only the talking point because the media are hurting hun bastards who want to exaggerate it and talk about it for days. Anything to keep sevco and their slump out the news.

Everyone condemns coin throwing, the seats will be paid for and fixed, no cunt cares about smoke bombs (unless it's Celtic fans throwing them) and anyone who doesn't partake in IRA songs at away games shouldn't be allowed a ticket.

No cunt died so you can stop with the pretend outrage now.
