Since the start of last season Motherwell have played 70 games. Craig Thomson has sent off 6 players in the 7 he has officiated. (2 overturned, 2 for 2nd yellows, 2 debateable*) Other 63 games has seen 3 red cards for Motherwell. So we average 1 red card a game with Thomson in charge, 1 in every 20 games without. *Kipre red card for Sinclair dive in league cup final and Carson for Handling on edge of box at Mcdiarmid, video inconclusive.
