Aye, a few Saints fans have said that.

I know quite a few going to hospitality too so should hopefully be a decent crowd.

I doubt there will be any trouble as anyone I know going in home end are just regular fans who've been caught out by fast sales, some of whom rarely miss a game. I suppose it's a good problem to have!

Has Clarke got the fans coming back? It would be great to see Killie with higher attendances again.

Aye, we always take a big crowd to Paisley though.

Generally our away support is decent in terms of a % of our home support. We've had 1,300 at Livi, 1,000 at Easter Road, 800 last week at Dundee and so on this season.  Aberdeen was only about 350-400 but again, we took 1,300+ up there last year.

Home crowds are definitely up too. For example we had 5,000+ the other week against Motherwell, with the smallest Motherwell support I can remember at RP (500). Small steps but definitely going in right direction. Think we're at 4k season ticket holders, which is over 1k up on what we were at the start of last season.

I think the target is to consistently get 5-6k home fans at games. I'd be hoping for 5k+ home fans next week against Hamilton, especially if we win at the weekend.

We'll never get back to the late 90s/early 00s in terms of crowds but there's mitigating factors. Ayrshire as a whole has massive unemployment/closures over that time and that takes time to fix.

I don’t think prices help much either. £26 to get into Pittodrie the other week was way too much in my opinion.

Alrhough to be fair that was offset somewhat by £2 a pint at the Archibald Simpson pub before the game 😃

Good post and healthy for the game that your team are on the up both in the pitch and in the stands

agree with Mitre, good to see crowds returning, its great for the game. When was the last time Killie had decent crowds? The burns era?

2000-01 - 8,224

2001-02 - 7,621

2002-03 - 7,408

2003-04 - 6,996

2004-05 - 5,931

2005-06 - 7,071

2006-07 - 7,564

2007-08 - 6,181

2008-09 - 5,726

2009-10 - 5,919

2010-11 - 6,427

2011-12 - 5,537

You can guess when Michael Johnston took over as chairman......

I read something elsewhere that your crowds used to be around 9k, that would be decent IMO and it would be great to see a return to that.........................even though you have Kris Boyd upfront 😂😂

When did you start giving the Old firm behind both goals?

Wondering if those figures disprove the theory that us diddy teams need the Blue/Green pounds....

I hadn’t realised the crowds at Rigby Park were so high so recently relative to Motherwell.

At fir Park I’ve noticed away supports from Hearts, Hibs, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen all dropped off quite noticeabley compared to the 90s, bar the odd game where they are on a run.

Years ago, a few years after the stadium was built IIRC.

The season we had an average attendance of 11, 736, we had ELEVEN home games with 10,000+ there.

Unreal looking back at it.

As for your second point, it's exactly the same at RP. Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen regularly bring less than 1,000 these days unless they are flying or it's a cup game. Years gone by they'd have taken 2,000+ every time. Aberdeen seem to get shafted with Sunday games at RP live on TV though.

That is far too much for any game in our league.

Apart from maybe the Scottish cup final, I don’t think any domestic game should be over £30.

Yes I remember being in the Moffat Stand for a game v Celtic.  I think Celtic fans had the Chadwick plus part of the East and West stands. Presumably at some point afterwards it was deemed less hassle to give them 2 full stands.

I had a season in the Moffat the year we won the cup in 97 and I was in the Moffat for old firm games.

I think it might have been the following season we changed it.

I had a night in the Moffat last night. I even managed it without wakening her up.

St Mirren have restricted home end tickets sale to just those on their database tomorrow as Killie fans have been buying home end tickets.

Few mates been knocked back from whatever their stadium is called, today.

Love Street.  It'll always be Love Street!

Typical Rangers fan...

To be fair Parkie after the Paisley 2021 stadium name I can't remember who the new name sponsors are and I pass it regularly. 😀

Just googled it. The Simple Digital Arena. 🤔

Is that what it’s actually called? That’s awful.

Apparently so. Its pretty bad but Dumbarton's ground used to be called the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium, so it's not the worst.
