Does anyone else have a banner at the bottom of their mobile page, or is it just me?

Black rectangle with what seems like a video loading and when you click on it, it brings me to an ad choices page.

Its really annoying.

It just appeared today out of nowhere. Download the Adblock app. The one with the wee blue shield. It makes the iphone go fast as fuck with the TAMB.

I am getting it too. Driving me mad, its keeping me off here so I suppose there is some benefit to it.

Its hard to click on the x to close it on an iphone, I end up opening it by mistake and the advert blasts out, which is a bit inconvenient when you are having a sneaky look during a quiet day in work.

I will try the adblock.

If you’re iPhone, the one ormond suggested has done exactly what it’s meant to.

Yes, exactly. You can only activate the top icon on it’s list for free but that’s all you need. Then double click home button on the phone to cancel out all pages. Then just restart.

I’ve done that and it hasnt worked. Does it perhaps only work on a mimimum version of iphone ? I have a 5s, it might not work on antiques.

I am getting a new phone soon as this one is shit, its too slow at the best of times , these ads make it even worse.

You mean restart as in powering down?

ive installed this ad blocker double clicked the home button, removed all the old pages and it’s still not blocking.

Im working with an iPhone 8.

the one I found that works is R blocker (red background with a squiggly R) but you have to go through their app to access everything.

Am I missing something here?

I mean restart only as in your browser.

Have you then went into your settings to allow the app permission to block?

It seems to be working now, but I had to clear all cookies in settings before it worked.

Thanks.

I cleared my cookies, search history etc. Was a nightmare, didn’t have any of my porn passwords written down.

You should try Farmers Weekly. It doesn’t require any passwords.

Arseholes appalled by the use of the C word but are happy to leather fuck out of badgers.

It’s like Yanks. They continually tell me my use of that word is the most shocking thing ever as they don’t bat an eyelid each time a child is shot in the US.
