And yes enjoyed the Womens Race on tv. Watched the Commonwealth race on the hill at Great George St. Easy access, just take the subway to Hillhead and walk round the corner. Wasn't too busy IIRC... Hertsscot Posted August 12, 2018 Share Posted August 12, 2018 Eilidh Doyle did really well in bringing the team home, her experience was crucial on the last leg. Good start by Zoey Clark. Hope Muir does well tonight. Jake Wightman did really well to get Bronze in the 1500. Sharp disappointing in the 800m, for an experienced athlete she read the race really badly. Must be difficult when your mum was such an outstanding talent but she's worked hard and got better and better each year. Goodness knows how the Israeli athlete must feel now, can't never an athlete ever miscalculation like that and thinking she'd finished when she still had a lap to go!
