I assume macy was replying to me but I have his ramblings on ignore. Celtic have the advantage of having their own end, a minor psychological one but still an advantage. in this situation they'd likely have 40K+ fans because of the kick off times

Whats that got to do with creating a neutral semi final where each club should have the best opportunity to fill 50% of the stadium with their fans?

Success can sometimes come unexpectedly.

When Celtic and Rangers play up at Aberdeen on a Sunday what time does the first train get in to Aberdeen from Glasgow?

Not even close to being the same thing. Cup semis are meant to be an entirely neutral affair.

It really is mind blowing how often that line has been trotted out by tims and Huns and they ignore the reply because it’s not what they want to hear.

I didn't realise wanting a fair outcome for all four clubs for a neutral semi final was considered bed wetting, if thats the case, consider my pants well and truly soaked through.

To be fair, until Rodgers took over, Celtic couldn't get close to selling out for league cup semi finals.

Funny that.

In fact, I remember an Old Firm Semi Final back in the 00s when Hampden had about 10,000 empty seats at it, so let's forget the faux outrage if neither Hearts or Aberdeen sell out.

Why quote him then?

he said Celtic never sell out semi finals until Rodgers came along which is a lie and then changed it to say When Rodgers came along and unless it was against Rangers which he never said in the first post, just pointing out him not saying that in the first post

I gave you an example of a Semi Final pre Rodgers you couldn't even sell out and it was against Rangers.

Ok then, it was very, very rare for Celtic to sell out a Semi Final unless it was against Rangers until Rodgers came along.

If you know your history and all that.

Lie hahahaha.

Maybe the huns are right in that some Celtic fans are only there to see Rangers.

my original post on this, where did i say Celtic and Rangers would sell all their tickets and Hearts and Aberdeen wouldnt??? Some people in here like to twist what is being said to suit their own petty posts

You didn’t say it in so many words, but it seemed to be the inference.

RFC and CFC seem to have been quiet on this, other than Celtic raising concern about being sent to Edinburgh to play. Can we assume from that both clubs were content with plan A?

Read elsewhwee, Celtic want a draw to see who plays at murrayfield. 🙄

And why would that be a problem exactly?

If someone is being moved from the usual venue then it shouldn't just be chosen by those running the competition. Let the draw decide, or are you just interested in keeping it fair when it suits you?
