I made the mistake of mixing beer and physics last night. The summer solstice will not move to December as the Gregorian calendar takes care of the drift in the equinoxes (it skips 3 leap years every 400 years).

What it will mean is that in 10,000 years perihelion, the closest point to the sun, will happen in June which should have a positive impact on the Scottish climate 😎
