I wonder if some of this relates to the homegrown talent pool. As long as they all go down there before they turn 18, they can count as homegrown. Which makes the Wilson transfer so bewildering. Unless there is a loophole I don't know about that would make him eligible for being homegrown. I wonder if the fact Bowie is classed as EPL homegrown boosted his value. As he'll be far more valuable down the line if EPL teams start sniffing about. Quote

He's not technically great, full of energy and gets the odd goal though. He's not kicked on, for a variety of reasons. Quote
