They only get paid about £2.50 an hour though.

Shouldn’t have laughed at that. There were a few hundred  workers flown in and brought to here in Cambs a couple of days ago . All well reported by the local bbc as necessary to help out our heroes in the agriculture industry. They are apparently here to teach the locals how to do the tasks required, my son included. Though , after an interview with a couple of these imported workers where they said simply they had no work or other way to earn money back home I do have my suspicions that cheap labour is the driver .

You might be a tad conservative with the £2:50 ph claim though . Being fit and after a while it might be possible to earn near minimum wage over a 10/11 hr shift.

Lovely blue skies here today.

Another cracking day here in tropical Motherwell. A few going by with back packs and cool boxes heading for a session obviously.

Must admit if I was in my teens/early 20"s and this happened I doubt I could have stayed in especially on a Friday. Would have tied the bed sheets together and climbed out the bedroom window by now and been down the Clyde or in the woods with a carry out. So hats off to the young team who are sticking with the rules.

Just in case anyone hadn't noticed with today's political/corona-virus shenanigans, it's a beautiful evening and that 'kin wind has pissed off. Looking good for the next few days. Consequently I am now burning stuff in the garden.
