Is Gerrard's statement that he wants to challenge Celtic by signing players who were not good enough for Celtic?

Do keep up. Its heehaw to do with the players ability in relation to Celtic.

It's about sticking 2 fingers up to the bigots, which is always nice to see. 😀

And i wasn't being totally serious, to be fair.

Given that as a youth he started at Celtic, went to Rangers and then back to Celtic then I'm not sure he'd be that well received by the more "traditional" among our support.  Especially when you add his comments about knocking back Walter Smith's offer of a new contract because he knew if he even played one first team game for Rangers it would mean he'd never get to play for Celtic!

That said, he does seem to be developing in to a pretty good player and was MOTM in 3 out of 4 games against us.  Players like that don't come up on freebies all that often and he'd certainly improve our current squad as it stands.

Bigots.

Mate said he saw Gerrard at Ushiuia in Ibiza last night.

Been a tough first week in the job for him haha

Your 1st week is always a skive. Early finishes etc.

I’m imagining some sort of induction with an HR person, but the IT guy forgot to set him up a log in, his door pass isn’t ready and they’ve not got his kit, so he’s wearing Graeme Murtys training gear. His brown brogues haven’t arrived yet, but they got him a tie from the club shop...

That’s what my 1st week in a new job tended to be like.

The only issues with this post is that the club shop doesn't sell the club ties (much to the annoyance of some fans) so they might not even have that ready for him.

Aye a diddy that couldn't get a game for Sunderland and a defender who's barely kicked a ball in 18 months #goingfor55

I'm sure Celtic and Aberdeen are shiting it

Paddy Power have slashed the odds.  And Paddy Power are no mugs.

Slashed the odds on what? Gerard sacked by Christmas? Rangers being relegated? Neymar signing for rangers?

Have to admit, I'm looking forward to the "Let's go" headlines when Gerrard fucks off after the new year thumping at Ibrox.

He's done the headline writers job for them!
