macy37
Not much publicity so far by the MSM, unsurprisingly...however I’ll step in....a magnificent gesture from the great man. Well done Broony.
Scotland Ever More
I'll ask then. What has he done?
vanderark14
Giving his testimonial money to charity, part of which will go to Liam millers family.
phart
I googled Scott Brown and got this. http://www.the42.ie/the-republic-of-ireland-celtic-scott-brown-testimonial-3924451-Mar2018/
Scotland Ever More
Good for him. Don't think he's short of a few bob but a good gesture all the same.
vanderark14
He’s basically doing what most highly paid players do with their testimonial money nowadays.
dandydunn
Why are celtic reportedly playing ROI for this match?

GRBear
Good gesture for Liam Miller but aye don't think he's short of money. Out of interest, why are Celtic playing ROI, what's the significance there?

At half time Gerry Adams will be invited to do the paradise windfall draw and an emotional tribute to Martin McGuiness will follow. That the sort of thing you're looking for? 😱
Tartan_McCole
A nice gesture, however one that would be expected. People asking why a Celtic player would have a game against ROI for his testimonial.. Very good.
Squirrelhumper
Good gesture but can't think of a high profile player who has kept their testimonial money in recent times. First person I can remember giving it all away was Niall Quinn I'm sure. Nice touch giving some to Liam Miller's family though. Seemingly the ROI thing was fairly last minute, a few clubs, Liverpool included turned it down for a variety of reasons. Would have got a better level of opposition if they played it pre season. Jim Beem
Probably just as well it’s not Liverpool. The wallowing would have been off the scale. Not Browns biggest fan, complete fud as a player but has done a job for Scotland. To be honest, I suspect that off the park he is probably a good cunt. Jim Beem
I have a gut feeling Paddy McCourt will get wheeled out for this game.

DoonTheSlope
Seen as how he’s been such a pivotal figure for both club and country he could have played it against Scotland and played a half for each side. The only stumbling block there was the away dressing room was maybe too far for Browny to travel
