Brummie Hibs
Caught in two minds here. I think she would be great for Scotland, but don't want to lose her from Hibs. Daddy or Chips!?
DoonTheSlope
We can kiss goodbye to the away points table then. If she does get the gig she will keep it for a few months and if you pay monthly into a glorified Ponzi scheme then you'll get 5 bonus points! People will kick up fuck about not getting a ticket for Dublin or Metz etc then she'll scrap it and it will be back to queuing up outside Prestos all night

Debian
Progressive and trendy for the SFA if they promote a woman to the top of the game. Already seen on twitter the Tims moaning conspiracy if she gets it.

runningtings
Maybe this is what is needed to change the SFA from being a bunch of old men with no ideas.
DoonTheSlope
I don't agree with people saying it would be good to have a woman in charge It would be good to have someone in charge who is up to the job in hand regardless of gender, race or religion The snowflake generation is in full swing
tartanmartin
Keep in mind that Petrie is next in line for the presidency when MacRae steps down. It will only be progressive if the chief exec wrestles power from the blazers. I won't hold my breath.

Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
All in favour of Leanne Dempster getting the gig , she has done a brilliant job at Hibs . I met her once at Easter Road and she seemed very shy but she has kept Rod Pettrie in check since her arrival , so must be more to her than meets the eye. I don't think she has done a bad job at Easter Road, not at all. I find the handling of the loyalty scheme, in particular the added points for joining HSL nothing short of scandalous though I reckon she is up to the task of the job at the SFA but the fact that she is a woman shouldn't be here nor there. It seems that in this day in age it's all about ticking boxes to keep in line with quotas. Its like how we kept hearing about it would be great to have a black president or a woman president when in actual fact those statements are borderline racism and sexism, but that's an argument for another thread and another day. The Travel Club was instigated in the early 80s. Before that you just sent off a stamped addressed envelope and a postal order and they sent you a ticket. There were plenty to go around for all games apart from Wembley. A lot of the Wembley tickets were allocated to clubs. Every SFA affiliated club got a set number of tickets to distribute any way they wanted to. After they started the Travel Club, for the games where tickets were scarce ,they were allocated on the basis of who had been in the Travel Club the longest, but in practise everybody in the travel club usually got a ticket. In fact most games you could buy more than one. I got 4 for Big Jock's last game in Cardiff. Edited February 2, 2018 by Orraloon

Mox
The same goes for this job as the managers job, it should be given to a foreigner who hasn't the foggiest about Scottish football and the cliques and boys clubs that run it.
