As part of our effort to have the members involved in the board and have a say in the look and feel of it, we are giving you a chance to vote on our brand new logo. Below we have 6 options. Please vote on your favourite.

5 is fine. Looks like the same font and background as the "YES" logo.  

The kilt options look a bit naff IMO.

I chose #5, because I don't like all the clichéd stuff in the others (i.e Kilt and sporran).

But #5 is boring. Light blue ain't a good colour - it should at least be Scotland kit colour. The font in #2 & #3 is a bit better, but still not a fan.

Also voted 5.  Not a fan of the kilts/sporran and 1 & 3 look like the have rugby balls on them.

Voted for 1. A wee suggestion if I may, a wee glengarry tilted on the left side of the T perhaps and navy or saltire blue background?

But I agree the font on 2 & 3 is better.

From these choices I would go for no 6 , but make it look more like a sporran, it looks too much like a purse.

It looks to me that fonts 1, 2, 5 and 6 are all the same. Isn't it 3 and 4 that are different?

 

Can I ask what the new logo will be used on? I assume on the top of the message board? As part of the banner?

Will it be used elsewhere? Online and print or just online?

I have just looked at the voting. No 5 is winning  ? Well seen its a male dominated board, nae imagination whatsoever . I could have just got a big marker out ma handbag  and written that.

There's a thing. Now we have the upvotes etc why don't the add a feather reaching half the length under everyone's username. If you get an upvote the size of feather reduces, if you get a downvote then your feather increases

they are all far too similar in my opinion. Would it not be a good idea to maybe have a competition and get users to put ideas forward? As well as the numpties, we do have some creative and talented people on the board.

Agreed - 5 is bearable but "kilt" and "sporran" woeful. Sorry.
