I just had a look at the last time the points was update. England game was played on the 11th of November. Points table was updated on the 15th. A mere four days later. Two weeks this time makes even less sense now.

Edit: That game was also a Friday and it was updated by the Tuesday. I.e yesterday

You have to really wonder what they are actually sitting about doing all day, probably sitting thinking about further ways to annoy and shaft their members.

In this day and age, it is frankly laughable that they cannot add a point for a game that was 5 weeks apart.

No wonder the survey came out before they pulled this fly one

While it is ridiculous that they said the couldn't update the points table within two weeks, it is also a bit of a joke that they've now changed their minds and gone against what was said yesterday.

i was actually due to benefit as couldn't go to Lithuania but I wonder how many of those that have been so outraged on this thread were actually impacted. As has been said, vast majority who were in Lithuania were likely also in Poland  so no change.

So in summary from one of the ones who would have points total increased to 7 after Friday night and therefore would have had a greater chance of a ticket for Slovenia, but am now stuck on 6 for ticket allocation ;

1. The t's and c's regarding the 2 weeks are being interpreted differently by ssc than is actually stated

2. There is precedent that this scenario before has had the points update.

3. Where there is precedent there is expectation.

4. There was no courtesy information regarding the points not being updated.

As a consequence of the above it is only natural that there is disgruntlement as it has been very poorly handled from a communication perspective. Communication with your "clients" is central to a good reationship and trust.

5. There were approximately 2,000 fewer official tickets for Lithuania than Poland. That means movement can be expected across all points levels. This not only puts those in Lithuania at a disadvantage for this game but also potentially for the next away fixture too.

In all fairness therefore the ssc should - as identified in a previous post - postpone tomorrow's sale .

Also, they (Sfa) really don't do themselves any favours. What if someone had bought a flight last night off the back of being told 8-10 points would get them a ticket and the statement that Lithuania point wouldn't be added/Poland taken off. They could say they were following advice not tonly book travel until ticket was guaranteed.

Plenty of people were and we are the ones rightly kicking up a stink.

It's a shambles full stop. They could have just added the points yesterday (same length of time it took the last time) then put out their email for the sale today.

Now they have gone and annoyed the whole supporters club instead of half

As somebody who would have initially benifitted (now on 7, was on 8 last night), I could still see it was a farce. As TartanTokyo said, imagine if somebody booked flights on the back of yesterdays email?

The SSC don't make it want on themselves.

Just need to be quick on Friday. Flights booked ages ago so I'll be there.

Anyone got an updated points table?

Yeah Jamie, there is now 142 less people on 7-10 points & if everyone on 8-10 buys, there'll be 345 left for the 498 7 pointers.

The updated table is on the SSC site - with the wrong heading still :ok:
