Que Sera Sera Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Trying to decide where to fly home from on the Monday. Anybody been to Palanga or Klaipeda?
Support in Lithuania Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Hi. The Airport are in Palanga. That is 330 km from Vilnius. It is small airport. But Palanga nice place near Baltic sea.
DeeRus Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 There's a few of us flying out to there and then travelling to Vilnius We're staying in the Memel Hotel, which has fairly decent reviews and is well placed etc - also decided to do a wee trip to Nida on the Curonian Spit. The trains are around €12 one way but can't buy online as you need a Lithuanian bank account - from what I've read, you can buy on the day if needed Looks fairly decent and with the direct train, makes it easy to get to, with the hotel sorting out a taxi from the airport for us (€30) but I suppose since you're going the other way and control the time you leave, the airport coach would be good for you?
Red & Yellow Magpie Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 We are flying in to Palanga on the Sunday , but to Vilnius on the Wednesday , then back to Palanga , on the Saturday , fly home Sunday

Ormond Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Just reading on an FB page about a plane bound for Palanga almost being diverted due to Scottish laddies being bawbags. This true?

1ANDYP Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 It's not a new thing on football trips. Always a few arseholes that can't handle the drink or know when to stop
